Step Up is a dance movie, or rather, a movie about dance.

So story is about Channing Tatum who knows nothing except vandalising public properties for fun? That's just what he do. He was not interested in school, only know how to dance, club, vandalise walls, cars etc. He has a black buddy and always hang out together with him and his little brother.

Apparently, one day, the 3 of them sneaked inside a school's theatre and destroyed the props inside, his friends got away but he was arrested by cops. So the school which they broke into, turned out to be a prestige arts school in it's own specialisation on drawing, painting, classical music, audio engineering, as well as ballet dancing & modern dance kinda school.

So Channing had to do 200 hrs of community service for the school. One day, while he was cleaning up at a studio, he saw these group of dancers rehearsing in front of him and his was attracted by the female lead.

It's quite a cliche storyline whereby female lead is preparing for final year exam/product and was cheorographing a dance which require a male partner. Unfortunately, her own male partner injured his leg and couldn't practice together. So, Channing offered to practice with the female and the more time they spent together, the more attracted they are to each other. In the end, Channing replaced the actual male dance partner and went through the final show with her!

Really love the way the movie is filmed. Everyone in the set has to know how to dance otherwise defeats the storyline already. LOL~

The soundtracks were even more awesome! I have to go download it! Hee!!
