My 24th Birthday
Tuesday, woke up, dressed up, went out to meet Cheryl 330 at Tang Studio. Lala was free as a student on vacation and Cheryl applied for half day leave to attend an interview hence we could meet up earlier in the afternoon.
Dropped at Shaw Centre and went to look for Cheryl at MNG and she was delighted to see me and commented that I dressed Korean. Haha!! ha nor ha nor! I am inspired by the Shin ChaeKyong from Goong to wear those Goong-like fancy tops! I was so happy and smiled like bai chi for being praised like that.
Later on, Cheryl & I went over to Shaw's Partyworld and was about to sign in for a room when Lala came. We sang from 4pm-8pm and was so happy to catch things up and reminiscing the old times where the whole bunch of us will drop down to Bt Pasoh (no longer there) after every Hai Die vocal class to practice even more singing all those hitting-high-notes songs from Ah Mei, Elva, Landy, Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey etc. What great memories...

After KTV, they asked me to decide what to have for dinner but I seriously have no idea. Xiang would be taking me to eat Korean and I had Jap recently and I was getting pretty sick, cough & sore throat so something light would be prefered so I requested for Chinese food, something like porridge or with a lot of soup. They suggested Crystal Jade but I was quite off... so we just walked down Orchard Rd and heading Wisma so we decided to eat at Ding Tai Feng.

It was really hearty, fun, chat-filled dinner with the girls. It's been a while since we get down to eat together considering we used to get together on weekly basis every Saturday after vocal lessons back then in Hai Die for about a year.
After dinner, we hung out at the Taka fountain and talked. News was that Lala finally broke up with her bf of 4 years. I knew they broke up but I didn't really probe for the reason why. I mean, all break ups definitely will cause heartache and it's just not right to ask someone why they broke up unless the person mention it first otherwise it would remind them of all the hurtful events. Well... Lala said she told everything to Cheryl and don't wish to repeat herself and went aside to smoke. So Cheryl told me what she knew and I agar agar got an overview.
I won't say the reason why they broke up in case some common friends would stumble my blog and cause both of them to be in trouble. But well, Lala's caliber is way ahead of Gordon who kept remaining at the same spot while Lala is constantly upgrading, learning new things, equipping herself with new knowledge and skills so I guess the difference is just too big to be on the same frequency.
Anyway we chatted until 11pm then it was time to go. We walked Cheryl from Orchard to Douby Ghaut cos she'd be taking the purple line. I felt so glad to have both of them to accompany me for my bdays since 2004.
2004, my 21st bday party at home where I invited all my close friends.

I looked HORRENDOUS as compared to how my friends looked. Back then ppl always noticed them but not me~ SOBS~
2005, just 3 of us celebrated at PS, Gelare and basement~ Another celebration together with the other gals.
I still remembered I was doing the Yu Ji MTV and this dress was sponsored by the organisers so I didn't want to waste it and wore it to meet the girls. =X
2006, brought Zach to meet them to have a meal together where Lala gave me a hand-made necklace while Cheryl shared gift of a body lotion package with Huihui & KTV thereafter.
Alamak I look horrendous again. I SIMPLY CANNOT take pics with flash la. I'll really look like a ghost. CASPER! BOO~
2007, today at Ding Tai Feng & KTV.
They boarded the train while I waited for bus until 1145pm no sign of 502 so I took 106 to Clementi. And there were several ppl who wished me Happy Birthday, among which are Celine, Pris, Lala, Cheryl and of course Dearie. He said, "24 liao, cannot be so hai zi qi already." Haha! Pris was also saying, "May you always be the bubbly & lovable En we all know." Haha! I know Xiaopang wish me 快搞长大 every year! Pengz~ 只要不要向衡发展我就谢天谢地了！Else I'm going to be called Xiaopang Number 2 soon =P

Alighted at Clementi and board cab to Boy's place. Was pretty shocked that the question I asked him earlier he has it. I asked if he wanted ice cream and asked if he has candles. When I reached his place, he has all of these bought. I was just surprised. He bought sparklers too! We did it, slept for a while, then went downstairs to put sparklers & candles. I made a heartshape of the candles and he put my name EN next to the heartshape and I put an I in front of the heart. We took pics and he sang bday song for me. I was so so so so happy. Put out everything, it was 516am, he saw me to the main road and I took cab home.
Wednesday, I'm officially 24! 生肖在不知不觉中过了两轮.
Dearie & I kept tu-ing and we finally met at HMV at 530pm. We arranged at 5pm but as usual that hiao da bor will need time to style hair swee swee. We walked around Heeren for a while and saw some clothes which I like but didn't buy cos it was rather ex. After that, we went to the Hakaram Restaurant at Level 5 and made our orders...
It wasn't before long the restaurant was filled with Japanese & Korean ppl. We were the only Singaporean there and haha, I felt as I was in overseas instead!

After we finished eating, it was 7pm le! I did a very stupid thing. I dumbly asked Dearie to book Harry Potter at Cathay Cineplex instead of Cineleisure. We could have just cross the street from Heeren to Cineleisure but hiya... we have to wait for the bus. We boarded a wobbly bus, wonder how the driver got his license one. Argghh~ We quickly collected our tickets and went into the theatres. By the time we got in, it has already started with flying folded paper airplanes at the Ministry of Magic.
Basically this episode was talking about Dumbledore's army VS Ministry of Magic and I thought it was a total flop. As in, none of the 3 characters get to have much lines, much less scenes. The protagonist this time is the stupid Delores lecturer from the Ministry trying to reform Hogwarts. Pink does not suit her and what's with the sarcastic giggle everytime she create a new rule. I didn't even find the kissing scene of Harry & Cho Chang fascinating. The only thing attractive to me in this movie is the platinum blonde girl who's able to see the creature like Harry does, her shoes kept going missing, hence she has to walk barefooted at times. She's cute! I like the way she talked, very weirdly cute~ LOL~
Movie ended. Tried to walk around PS trying to find a cake but most shops are closing. While walked until legs aching, we sat down outside PS to rest and also to take some pics...

Then we walked to Crown Prince Swensons and ordered the 600g cake. There was another girl who was celebrating her bday too and her friends sang happy bday song loudly~ Hehe! I felt happy for her cos we shared the same bday! Wahaha... So I asked Dearie to sing happy bday song softly...
My birthday cake for this year. I didn't have one last year nor the year before other than my 21st's.
So I'm really very happy!

It was hard to finish such a big cake with 2 ppl. I was stuffed to death already~ But Dearie was still able to go on! Hehe! But we still ordered some calamari after that. By the time it was already past 12 and we took cab home.
After that we alighted from cab and heading towards the lift, Dearie suddenly barged over and I felt onto the floor. Luckily my buttocks landed first, I could have hurt my tailbone or something. Omg. Luckily there wasn't anyone who saw the embarrassing scene as well!
