It was quite a funny!

It feels like spoofing themselves and how the entertainment industry is like. An actress & actor, getting married on contract by their agents to get endorsement deals which will earn them millions.


Fann do not like Chris but they have to pretend they're lovers in order to get those endorsement deals from various expensive merchants like car, jewel, condo... Sort of like using the happiness of the two celebrities to bluff the audience basically...

Both of them weren't happy about lying. There were already 'acting' as a profession in the movie but when they're not acting, they still have to put up an act in front of the media or public that they're very much in love.

In fact, Fann is doing this to pay her father's debts. So she always have to swallow her pride and shoot advertisements that she doesn't like, she also had to get intimate with Chris which she doesn't like as well.

There was a line in the movie which touched me. Fann was supposed to go for an endorsement event but the rumours about her & Chris not getting along took the attention of the event. So she eventually admitted it was all a scam and, thereafter, losing every single endorsement deal.

She said, "When we told lies, all of you believed everything. Now I'm telling you the truth yet you won't believe a single word."

How true... 我不了解为何人总爱听谎言。

As predictable as any 'contract marriage' in any other dramas out there, eventually the couple fell in love and decided to make this 'fake marriage' real.... so there!
