Sunday, trip to the Yokohama Aquarium & Ramen museum!

We are chio bus again, wearing big bow ribbons out on the streets that we definitely couldn't do on streets of Singapore without being told of for 'acting cute', 'attracting attention'.

Here is my blue checkered preggie top + grey shorts + slippers in summer Japan that's hotter than Singapore's all-year sunny weather. Huishan's outfit & mine matched too! Hehe!

It was a fun fun day but also damn crowded as well. Most of the animal shows were full house and it was simply not worth to stand around and waited so we mainly just go with the flow to find what's available to view and see in the huge aquarium! There were indoor ones, outdoor ones and even live ones!

So many cute stuff toys that I wanted to bring everything back home but that was not possible la! Just before we decided to leave for the day to catch the ramen museum before it closes, we were capture by the aquarium camera and was shown for a few seconds on the huge screen! Hehe! this was quite cute and I quickly snapped pics of us on the huge screen hehe....

Next up we went to visit the Ramen Museum after much difficulty searching for it. It's an old Jap-street-style kinda environment, so there were ancient movie posters with fake sky, props... quite happening eh~ Consist of about 12 ramen stalls!

Everything inside is quite interesting because it takes every visitor back in time in older streets of Japan I guess. Very nostalgic and it's nice that a ramen museum was still able to preserve the 古早味. More of all the older candies, snacks, play stuff that kids from older generations....

There were many fake alleys/corridors with parks scooters and bicycles to create the olden street stall look. There were also old telephones, making it look very real! But our real purpose was there to try out the different ramen from different stalls, said to be authentic from different areas of Japan....

We had chosen one ramen stall because there were cuties inside behind the counter. Hence our ramen bowls were prepared by this really hot looking chef! Tasted extremely good! I love the soup and the pork char siew!

Haha, it wasn't like the portion you find in Singapore. It was actually just enough, if not maybe slightly smaller portion. Hence, one bowl was really not enough. Huishan & I share another bowl from another ramen stall haha...

This ojisan very funny. He could speak English quite well actually, and he claimed that he was a very majime (serious) guy but in actual fact, he was really quite an entertainer. We had an amusing time chatting with him before we left for the day!

Monday, OMFG DISNEYSEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So excited about this trip because I think it was considered a highlight? It's always about Disney whenever one visit Japan, isn't it?

Just that I didn't expect the weather to be do damn hot. Really really so much hotter than what a usual day like being in Singapore. But still, so many people in Japan still went ahead to play despite any weather conditions!

I was in green top, white shorts and my slippers! I wondered how did I survive with walking whole day in slippers/sandals only! The entrance is kinda similar to Universal Studio with a big globe in front!!

There was a cleaner who was trying to do his job by picking up the litters on the floor. But before us there was a couple getting his help taking a photo together, then us. Before we knew it, there were ppl waiting behind us and the poor cleaner gotta help to take photos and unable to do his work.

We actually saw a handful of characters but they were always walking damn fast and people soon got hold of them to take pics and it would take forever to be our turn. Only managed to take a single pic with Mrs Incredible and Shan.

Seriously, there was a hard time trying to locate Aladdin & Little Mermaid's area... rounds after rounds... we finally got here! If you are ever in Tokyo Disneyland and wonder why you don't see anything on Aladdin & Little Mermaid, that's because it's in Disney Sea. I am not sure why too....

The entire place was too huge and hard to cover every single ride. So many areas that we had to forgo due to long queues. We manage to also catch some live shows... We could only spend the remaining time to take pics with seemingly interesting place.

Quite sian that most eating places in Disneysea all surf western food like burgers, sandwiches... 便宜的吃不饱,吃饱的又太贵!My dinner - caesar salad & soup

Little Mermaid would be our last stop... to be honest, Little Mermaid's area is more for kids, no exciting rides... mainly kiddy rides.. LOL!

No idea how this snail come in picture with Little Mermaid but we ended our visit watching the LIVE ariel show... it's weird hearing a Caucasian talent in ariel's costume speaking Japanese but the show was totally cool!!!! Ariel waved at me!! Muahaha

And with that we had to leave Disney sea with regret as we didn't manage to explore finish and didn't get to take the rides that we wanted to take. Have to do it in the next trip which not sure when....

Tuesday, last day :(

I wore extremely casually because I only had 1 more top left only haha. We packed and checked out. We head off to Akihabara with my huge luggage. Had to go and buy figurines there...

Luckily we were able to find a locker huge enough for it but it was on top - so inconvenient. Without Huishan's help, I don't think I have the strength to lift it up entirely by myself.

We had lunch at a maid cafe - the first one that we came across. The maid was so cute & friendly & nice. We couldn't take pics inside so there was no pics to show.

I had an evening flight. Huishan head off back to where she came from while I went to Narita on my own. I sat together with an American family, the dad was a pediatrician. I think we talked majority of his time while his wife & 2, or was it 3 boys did their own thing....
