After dinner, we caught Slumdog Millionairre!

It was an AMAZING SHOW! And I understood why it won so many awards at the Oscars. The storyline itself is really really really good, very Oscar-worthy. And it's like a dramatic documentary film with BGR scenarios and lines.

Who Wants To Be A Millionaire is really a passe. But.. this movie made it soooo good! Every question was a piece of the male lead,  memory, some were really painful. Like the question where he saw his own mom died in front of his eyes.

From the beginning to the end, I had no idea if his bro, Salim is the good or bad guy? The eye blinding part was very sad & touching. Jamal & another kid were practicing hard to sing well without knowing the man will use them to beg on the streets. He's gonna blind them!!!! So they'd get more sympathy. They eventually ran away and grew up in the streets being tour guides.

He had one purpose in life and that's to find the girl, Lathika. They eventually went back to the slums in Mumbai to look for her. And the bro Salim killed the guy... They're all leading very messy lives! 3 of them got separated during their teens and they eventually grew up. Jamal works in a call centre and he randomly searched for their names and went up to meet her. The reason why he decided to go on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire is because he knew she'd watch that show... alamak...

And of course, he answered all questions correctly and became the millionaire. But I STILL DONT KNOW if the host was a good or bad guy?? Just when everyone thought the show ended and was about to leave the cinema..... we saw an MTV-like credits...

It was a Bollywood style, window wiping dance moves! Hahahaha....

EH! I like the music leh! I went back to research on the OST and it was truly Oscar-worthy!

And then this is Pussycat Dolls version which is also some kind of Nokia smart phone MV version
