The reason why I indicate a name instead of a movie title is because I watched 2 movies from Joseph Gorden Levitt back to back!

First one was 500 Days of Summer!

Somehow the movie stirred me a lot. Unlike typical romantic comedies, it showcased the downside of a relationship. You see it happening all the time to everyone at different parts of their lives. It's like a passing phase that everyone experienced before somehow...

Some memorable lines...
"Summer isn't a woman but a phase." Friend of Joseph said to him...

"When your heart is broken, it consumes you." - When Joseph realised Summer wasn't going to come back...
It's a thought provoking movie. You see how Summer claims that she doesn't believe in true love and doesn't know want a boyfriend but unknowingly she she grew closer to Tom and let her defenses down.

After several months of dating, Summer decided to call it quits but Tom doesn't take the break up well and went into severe depression.

Well, it was hard for the both of them to move on but both of them did eventually... when he finally was able to let Summer. Fate calls and he meets Autumn!

LOL!

Wonder if he would start another chapter with Autumn? I saw some reviews online about this movie and they summed up with: Failed Fling. Well.... if you see it that way. It was quite a long fling - 500 days!

I thought flings are usually anywhere from 1-night to nothing more than a week? "Wham, Bam, Thank You, Mam" ain't it?

After watching 500 Days of Summer, we caught Inception at JP. Really was a movie marathon again back to back.

Inception was first and it was totally cool & awesome!

However, I don't really understand the concept: How do you continue to dream when you're already in a dream?

After watching 500 Days Of Summer just a couple of hours catching Inception. I was quite confused seeing Joseph Gordon-Levitt cos he played in both movies :P

Anyway, I had a lot of question marks while watching this film.

Like when you die in layer 2 or 3 then how? And also the time in layer 4 past faster than in layer 3... I work with thousands of layers in photoshop & illustrator and I still get a hard time figuring out what is what! LOL!

They went through so much just to get an idea/thought inception in the head of another human being... aiyo! Worth it or not?
