Tamra Island - Periodic Korean drama in the Joseon days. Tamra is the olden name of the now popular island in Korea, Jeju.
A high official disguised as an exile to a seaside village to investigate about corruption of palace's 贡品.

I admit, I watched it cos of the super cute posters!!! And aren't you curious seeing an ang moh in a freaking PERIODIC Korean drama?

Trailer to make you heart itchy!

Aren't the scenes all so beautiful? Not CGI-ed!

We have the female lead, Bo Jin who's a diver from her village.

As the village is surrounded by sea, they make a living by doing sea-related jobs and of course they needed to offer abalone to the Emperor.

Meanwhile, somewhere in England, we have a British prince who's fascinated by the Eastern culture, ornaments (cos he has an Asian servant/butler) and decided to set sail all the way to the East in hopes to find treasures back to England. However, one night there was a huge storm that caused the ship to capsize and he's being washed to the shore.

As fate permit, during one of Bo Jin's diving session to collect abalone, she discovered this Caucasian guy with golden hair & blue eyes and thought he was a devil/freak cos they looked different. They couldn't even communicate but she sheltered him in a cave.

Meanwhile, we have a high-ranked official being sent to investigate where the offerings went to. There we see a lot of cute, hilarious, touching scenes throughout the drama!

Dramabeans documented episode recaps for the entire drama! You've really got to read it even if you think you don't have time to watch it. Just reading the recaps is engaging enough!

I found two interesting reviews of this drama here & here!
