I'd say the whole drama comprise of 4 parts. I wanted to type in my own words but realised that the Wikipedia page provided better description but I will classify them into the 4 parts and edit a bit with my own words. I believe it may be translated some this China site.

1. The First Marriage & The Cheater
Goo Eun Jae was a well-nature girl who has a pair of doting parents and a protective elder brother, Goo Kang Jae. She graduated as a make-up artist major at a university and began preparations to study abroad in France.
Her dreams to study in France are halted by a pregnancy with Jung Gyo-Bin (who was likely her senior in university) after he took advantage of her when she was drunk. She decided to marry him and give up her dreams in order to be a responsible mother for her unborn child.
Eun-Jae's
pregnancy soon ended in tragic miscarriage. It happened when she was
trying to protect her mother in law (who is an avid gambler) when she
was pushed down the steps by her MIL's creditor. Eun-Jae fell and lost
her baby.
Eun Jae's best friend, Shin Ae-Ri, grew up in the same household as Eun-Jae ever since she became an orphan when she was about 7–10 years old. It happened when her family was on the way to the Goo Family's hosue for dinner. It was a stormy night as her father drove on, Ae-Ri then threw a tantrum. While consoling the girl, her father lost control and ended crashing the car. Both Ae-Ri's parents died and the Goo Family has since taken Ae-Ri and raised her for 20 years along with Eun-Jae, treating her as if she were their own daughter.
Later
on, Ae-Ri became the girlfriend of Eun-Jae's brother, Kang Jae. Then
she left for France, revealing that someone was taking care of her tuition for her.
Alas, it took a long time until Eun-Jae became pregnant again. At about the same time when Eun Jae found out about her second pregnancy, Ae-Ri returns from her 5-year long makeup/beauty study from France and opened up her own MakeUp/Beauty parlour that was frequently patronised by rich wives.
2. The Second Marraige & The New Life
After 7 years of living the Jung Family as Gyo-Bin's housewife/maid, Eun-Jae soon found out that her husband had been cheating on her with Ae-Ri.
It turned out that he was the one giving the tuition funds for Ae-Ri's France education. To add to this insult, Ae-Ri revealed that she had Gyo Bin's child five years ago, named Jung Nino.
When Kang-Jae knew about this and decided to teach Gyo-Bin a lesson. This gave Gyo-Bin and his mother reason to force Eun-Jae into a divorce, otherwise her brother will be prosecuted for assault. After the divorce, Gyo-Bin and Ae-Ri got married while Eun-Jae moved back to her own family's house.
Ae Ri finally got her wish of having a happy, complete family together with her son.
But her happiness was short-lived after knowing about Eun Jae's pregnancy. Ae-Ri paid Eun Jae a visit, demanding her to get an abortion. Eun-Jae refused to do so in which Gyo-Bin dragged her to a gynecologist in Sokcho, forcing her into aborting the baby. Eun-Jae again refused. Gyo-Bin then drove her to Sokcho Beach and dragged her into the sea, threatening her to abort the baby. Eun-Jae, who doesn't how to swim, soon found herself being dragged by the waves. Eun-Jae begged Gyo-Bin to save her baby but Gyo-Bin ignored her pleas and abandoned her at sea to drown and die.
Ae-Ri and Gyo-Bin decided to keep this all a secret, lying that Eun-Jae had committed suicide. Ae-Ri faked Eun-Jae's suicide note which she hand over to the police and Gyo-Bin thereafter told everybody that he had not seen Eun-Jae the whole day.
Meanwhile, the midst of all this, Min Gun-Woo, the adopted son of Mdm Min, was near Sokcho in a search for his missing stepsister, Min So-Hee.
Mdm Min was a single mother who lost her first child from her first marriage and had So Hee in her second marriage. As a charitable lady, she decided to adopt Gun Woo. Even though So Hee knew Gun Woo was her stepbrother but she had love him all her life and wanted to marry him but many times Gun Woo told her this is wrong but she refused to listen until Mdm Min found out.
Mdm Min arranged Gun Woo for matchmaking and would like him to marry the girl she had set him up with. Gun Woo, being a filial adopted son decided to follow his adopted mother's orders. This aggravated So Hee who ran away from home. Devastated, she walked into into the sea to drown herself.
Gun-Woo, searching for So-Hee, found Eun-Jae's unconscious body instead. He then took her the hospital under the care of a friend who's a doctor. It was revealed that she had another miscarriage. Through the help of Gun-Woo and the doctor, Eun-Jae was allowed to live in the hospital for free where she worked at the same time to show gratitude.
Mdm Min heard from Gun Woo about Eun Jae's miserable & traumatic plight of losing her baby, cheating husband. Mdm Min felt Eun-Jae's experience was similar to hers and decided to take her in. Meanwhile, Mdm Min & Gun Woo have come to terms that since So Hee's body couldn't be found and presumed her dead and even held a funeral session for her.
Mdm Min actually owns a makeup/beauty palour as well and after realising Eun Jae could do makeup, she decided to groom Eun Jae & help her to get back at those people who hurt her. Mdm Min let Eun Jae assume the identity of her daughter, Min So Hee and decided to train her into becoming a confident person.
3. The Revenge & The Third Marriage
The 360-degree transformation begins. Eun Jae chopped her long hair off, she learnt driving & swimming, how to dress better and speak with confidence.
In the process of all this, Gun Woo fell in love with Eun Jae. The feelings were mutual but Eun Jae decided to hold her feelings back for him in order to fulfill her revenge of getting back at Gyo Bin & Ae Ri.
A part of story not mentioned is that Gun Woo is working at Gyo Bin's father's company. So technically, Gun Woo & Gyo Bin are colleagues even though Gyo Bin is the General Manager. Knowing Eun Jae's previously marriage with Gyo Bin is making Gun Woo very uneasy whenever he has to face Gyo Bin daily in the office.
Alas, Ae Ri didn't have a good time living with the Jung Family. Being a working mom, she doesn't do chores like Eun Jae did and Gyo Bin's mother is clearly not happy about it. Ae Ri tried to win their hearts by preparing a feast but was reprimanded for awful culinary skills. Being constantly compared to how well Eun Jae did, Ae Ri bear a lot of grudges thinking that she can't even be compared to a dead person. Gyo Bin, being a mama's boy would often side & agree with his mom. This make Ae Ri even more mad.
The first step to Eun Jae's revenge was to compete with Ae Ri's company and win Ae Ri's sponsors & suppliers over. One day the two women finally met and Ae Ri was positive that this woman claiming to be Min So Hee was in fact Eun Jae. Eun Jae reacted well and rebutted that Ae Ri was crazy. Eun Jae successfully clinched a lot of deals, making a name for Mdm Min's palour.
At the same time, Eun Jae also successfully seduced Gyo Bin in falling in love with her. With her business & marriage in jeopardy, Ae Ri tried desperate measures to save her palour & her man to the extend of stealing her father-in-law's money/assets and was therefore arrested & convicted for a short while.
With that, Gyo Bin divorced Ae Ri and married So Hee (Eun Jae). After Ae Ri was released, Gyo Bin kicked her out of the house but keep Nino. Mdm Min soon realised the heartless man, her first husband is the father of Gyo Bin. She was stunned at figuring out how everyone was related. Father of Gyo Bin is the chairman of the company which Gun Woo, her son, was working for. She is aware of Gun Woo's feeling for Eun Jae and told her son that it will never work out. She supports Eun Jae's revenge towards Gyo Bin (cos he's Mdm Min's enemy's son) but she won't accept Eun Jae as her daughter-in-law due to her messed up life. But Gun Woo cannot understand the logic.
Eun Jae soon became worried about her true identity to be revealed by Ae Ri. With the help of Mdm Min they went to the Goo Family and revealed the truth. The Goo Family were so relieved their daughter survived & didn't perish. In order to complete her revenge, she tricks Gyo Bin to give all his family assets to her & her "mother" Mdm Min. Asset that includes his father's company, their house, his mother's house and land. The Jung Family went bankrupt.
Mdm Min was once married to Gyo Bin's father, Jung Ha Jo. They had a child, Byeul-yi who was really sick but was taken away by Ha Jo in Mdm Min's absence. Mdm Min has no idea what happened to her first child. Furthermore, Ha Jo who was then a small manager in Mdm Min's father's company seized the Min Family's land through underhand methods and earned a big sum of money. Therefore he became a wealthy businessman now.
To humiliate the Jung Family further, Mdm Min gets his family to switch houses with the Goo Family, or Ha Jo's mansion will be auctioned and sold away. Gyo Bin's family is now poor while Eun Jae's family is now living more comfortably.
Unbeknownst to Mdm Min, their child is actually Ha Neul who is known to the viewers as Gyo Bin's autistic aunt (younger sister of Gyo Bin's father). She has a development in the drama and likes Kang Jae. After several fail attempts to win back Ae Ri's heart, he began to notice Ha Neul's cute & weird little gestures and eventually felt the same way for her.
With Eun Jae's revenge accomplished, Gun Woo could open up his feelings. They plan to get married. So good guys happy ending and bad guys got their deserts right now, right? Not quite. There's the bitch, Shin Ae Ri.
4. The True Love & The Ending
The real Min So Hee comes alive but she was suffering from severe depression. Gun Woo & Eun Jae's wedding was stalled because of So Hee's childish & annoying stunts.
Ae Ri found out that So Hee was the real daughter of Mdm Min and decided to seek So Hee's alliance to ruin Eun Jae's life since she is their common enemy. But the alliance was broken with Gun Woo's intervention. Gun Woo will not allow So Hee to bring any harm to Eun Jae.
So Hee desperately pleaded with her mother, Mdm Min to tell Gun Woo to marry her. As So Hee was Mdm Min's biological child, she was left with no choice but to give in to So Hee's request no matter how unreasonable they are, fearing that So Hee will disappear again. Mdm Min told Gun Woo that he had two choices: marry So Hee or marry Eun Jae and Lady Min will never talk to Gun Woo or Eun Jae again.
Gun Woo married So Hee because he thought her depression would get better and So Hee won't ruin Eun Jae's life. However, he can no longer tolerate any of So Hee's antics of her imagined suspicion, over paranoid and decided to divorce her. In the first place, he married her against his will cos he wanted to be a filial son and do not want to create disturbance in Eun Jae's life even though he loved her so much, so deeply.
Ae Ri wants to be back with Gyo Bin. She still loves him and still very much wants to give Nino a complete family. She makes Gyo Bin sleep with her, making her pregnant. The pregnancy made her happy and hopeful that things will work out with Gyo Bin. One day she suffered a sever stomachache, she fears that it's the baby. But it turns out that the doctors discovered she is at the advanced stage of stomach cancer. Doctors tell her to get an abortion so she can have the cancer surgery, but she refused. She thinks the baby is the only way to keep Gyo Bin and her together.
Later, Ae Ri had a miscarriage and was truly upset & depressed about losing the baby. Eun Jae learn about this is visited her at the hospital. Ae Ri apologised to Eun Jae about asking her to abort her child cos she now realised how that feels. She feels sorry for coming between Eun Jae's marriage with Gyo Bin but she really loves him. She admits that all these (miscarriage + cancer) are her retribution. Through these, Ae Ri and Eun Jae became true friends again. Eun Jae insists Ae Ri to get the cancer treatment surgery, but Ae Ri is scared that she will have to die soon as she's in the final terminal stage.
In the last episode, Ae Ri and Gyo Bin went on vacation. During this vacation, Ae Ri made a sea shell necklace for Nino. Ae Ri wrote two letters: one for Gyo Bin and one for Eun Jae. Ae Ri decided to commit suicide by drowning herself in the sea but Gyo Bin tried to save her. Ae Ri was screaming for him to let go because he needed to take care of Nino and that she was going to die anyway. He said he wasn't going to let go and he was going to save her.
They were so tired that they were talking in their minds. Ae Ri's mind said to take good care of Nino. Gyo Bin's mind told her that he let go of Eun Jae's hand once, and he didn't want to make the same mistake with her.
In the end, the couple perished together.The entire family attended their funeral. Eun Jae gives Nino the sea shell necklace. Ae Ri's letter to Eun Jae said to bury her ashes on the beach where Eun Jae almost died in.
So Hee and her mother decides to go to America together. Mdm Min gives Ha Jo the papers to own his company, land & assets again. Gun Woo met Eun Jae while she was spreading the ashes.Gun Woo puts his arm around Eun Jae and looks at the sky with her. They were sure that they saw Ae Ri and Gyo Bin together. The whole drama ended by having the two couples smiling at each other. Ae Ri and Gyo Bin were wearing white, and looking back at their friends.
I kid you not but that's EXACTLY the ending scene.
Phew spent a great deal of time editing & adding it to summarize the whole drama. To be honest, the last few episode felt rushed and the last episode was totally crappy. After going through everything, stomach cancer and commit suicide and request to spread ashes in the sea and pengz....

She thinks the baby is the only way to keep Gyo Bin and her together.
Later, Ae Ri had a miscarriage and was truly upset & depressed about losing the baby. Eun Jae learn about this is visited her at the hospital. Ae Ri apologised to Eun Jae about asking her to abort her child cos she now realised how that feels. She feels sorry for coming between Eun Jae's marriage with Gyo Bin but she really loves him. She admits that all these (miscarriage + cancer) are her retribution. Through these, Ae Ri and Eun Jae became true friends again. Eun Jae insists Ae Ri to get the cancer treatment surgery, but Ae Ri is scared that she will have to die soon as she's in the final terminal stage.
In the last episode, Ae Ri and Gyo Bin went on vacation. During this vacation, Ae Ri made a sea shell necklace for Nino. Ae Ri wrote two letters: one for Gyo Bin and one for Eun Jae. Ae Ri decided to commit suicide by drowning herself in the sea but Gyo Bin tried to save her. Ae Ri was screaming for him to let go because he needed to take care of Nino and that she was going to die anyway. He said he wasn't going to let go and he was going to save her.
They were so tired that they were talking in their minds. Ae Ri's mind said to take good care of Nino. Gyo Bin's mind told her that he let go of Eun Jae's hand once, and he didn't want to make the same mistake with her.
In the end, the couple perished together.The entire family attended their funeral. Eun Jae gives Nino the sea shell necklace. Ae Ri's letter to Eun Jae said to bury her ashes on the beach where Eun Jae almost died in.
So Hee and her mother decides to go to America together. Mdm Min gives Ha Jo the papers to own his company, land & assets again. Gun Woo met Eun Jae while she was spreading the ashes.Gun Woo puts his arm around Eun Jae and looks at the sky with her. They were sure that they saw Ae Ri and Gyo Bin together. The whole drama ended by having the two couples smiling at each other. Ae Ri and Gyo Bin were wearing white, and looking back at their friends.
Phew spent a great deal of time editing & adding it to summarize the whole drama. To be honest, the last few episode felt rushed and the last episode was totally crappy. After going through everything, stomach cancer and commit suicide and request to spread ashes in the sea and pengz....
