Lie To Me

I was randomly surfing for fanmade MTVs to check out romance or lovey dovey scenes of a drama before watching and thought it seemed sweet.

I did wiki/google a bit and the romance is essentially based on a lie and they had to fulfill a 'fake marriage contract'. That sounds awfully like Kim Sam Soon but obviously Yoon Eun Hye was a lot cuter la :P

The first few episodes took a little long to built up. The real sweet parts started when they seal the deal having to 'act' their way together as a fake married couple. What seemed like acting was in fact a budding attraction and super romantic la!!! These parts are definitely for suckers for romance!!

One of the "Kissing with blossoming petals" scene in the drama that I love so much!!!!

But the romance kinda ended shortly when his ex-girlfriend suddenly showed up and wanted to patch back with him. WTFBBQ!!! Disappear for 3 years with no news then suddenly back in Korea and say you want to be back with him??? No sense of shame! HAHA!
Poor girl has to force herself to get on without him and try not to message him. Guy didn't have it easier because they are clearly attracted to each other. 10 Episodes down and they got together successfully when President Hyeon Ki Jun (Kang Ji Hwan) canceled the fake marriage contract and decided to woo Gong Ah Jeong (Yoon Eun Hye) for real.

I think Kang Ji Hwan is ridiculously funny. In fact, he is probably a comedian so it's funny to watch him play serious characters lol
"Yeo bo! Neo yo gi seo?" (Honey, there you are!)
It's fun to watch both of them bicker about and getting angry at each other for stupid reasons.

It's really a fusion of Kim Sam Soon & My Girl & Full House here & there, all of which I love for obvious reasons. You don't have to be too serious with some of the weird logics or dialogs. Just relax and be swooned! LOL! Although I have a few more episodes to go but I know 有情人一定会终成眷属.

I have to say it got a little draggy towards to end but well, it's just a light hearted drama so just ignore all the other flaws & imperfections. Just know that it revolved with a simple plot: Love/Marriage Contract that started with benefiting both parties to ACTUALLY falling in love with each other. Another ingredient for drowning yourself with sweetness.
