I spent the New Year 2009 watching a boring 7 Pound movie.

The movie was not horrible... just extremely dry, mundane....

The first 1.5hr was just really, absolutely slow. I kept fidgeting in my seat and I can see ppl around me getting bored.

The REAL story only happened at the last half hour. Oh mo...

Turns out the male lead (Will Smith) was looking for 7 ppl with the intention of giving his body parts to them. The first 1.5hr was about looking for these ppl.

During the quest of searching for the donors, he met the love of his life (the female lead) who is suffering from a heart disease and it was predictable that, yeah... after Will Smith died, the female lead received a new heart, from him.

It was only revealed at the last 2 min that his negligence on driving on the road had caused the accident of his then-fiance and 6 other passengers after having collided with an incoming van. But he survived and he felt bad thereafter for being the sole survivor.

The story ended when he died in a bathtub full of ice with a deadly jellyfish attacking him. The ice preserved his organs that he was about to donate away to the said 7 ppl.

There was no climax, nothing... He was just planning for his death in the entire show. Then he died like that towards the end after settling his will and after looking for suitable STRANGERS to entrust his body parts....

It's ah.... I can't find the best word to describe this show. But the spoilers are already above and you may consider if this is your thing... But Will Smith is known to take on shows that shows the very human side, the very imperfection and real side. So there!
